GOALS & BENEFITS
An introduction to our military heritage delineates where we, as Americans, have come from and how our current collective personality has been shaped. The study of culture helps students to understand themselves as members of various groups, each with a unique system of beliefs, knowledge, values and traditions.
The National Guard is interested in sharing this education with students. The goal of the Career Counselor in the classroom is to share information on our military history and spark further interest in learning about the Citizen-Soldiers who have served to protect our freedom in times past.
