Delve into the cultures, ideas and practices of America's military history with the Heritage Outreach Program. Presented by the Army National Guard, this four-part program tells the story of a nation's dedication to promoting independence and freedom.
Free of charge, a National Guard Career Counselor will visit your classroom and discuss exciting historical points of four American wars, illustrating them with stories, images, maps and hands-on objects. In addition to the live presentation, a beautifully designed color booklet exploring four American wars will be given to students. Teachers are also provided with a curriculum guide full of useful teaching information and classroom activities.
